Azure Certification Day 4: 70-532

I finished my 70-532 course at LinuxAcademy dot com and I must say I am not exactly jazzed about it. Trust me I know it isn't positive to be a negative about anything but me being completely honest I wouldn't recommend it. I don't have another suggestion at this point for content but I will find out and I will share at that time.

I guess my biggest complaint is it feels like it simply isn't complete. For 7+ hours I heard about demos that were going to be shown and they are not out there. Now, keep in mind they could be and for some odd reason I just don't see it. BUT on my Ipad it says I am like close to 90% complete and the only thing I haven't done that I can see is take all the practice tests, reason being is I have found too many errors to invest anymore time.

This doesn't mean Linux Academy sucks, it just means this course has room for improvement and since this test is getting retired soon they will have a chance to replace it with something awesome and then tell me to go pound sand via twitter if they want.

But Shawn you said you were going to complete this in a week - WTF?!?!?! True, I did say that but a family friend owns a business I have been busy helping put together the basics for them...a facebook page, a business listing on Google and then developing a small website. Oh and I am still recovering from back surgery and that is going really well. If you are reading this from my day job know that I miss you....well most of you.....well some of know what I mean.

I am going to stick with this and see it through, I will figure out what it takes and after I take this test my whole outlook from above could change. But with that said I will keep posting until we either feel comfortable to take the stupid test or they flat out retire it. 70-532 here I come.

  1. Good to know about Linux Academy! What do you think of CloudAcademy? I just started so it's early but it seems to me the order of the videos is's like it starts out choppy and then all of a sudden we setup SSL on a webapp that we never created, etc?

    1. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but I know I have that at my finger tips. I actually got a book put out by MSPress that I was going to start with next but it may be out of date too already.
